Food Banks To Benefit From Wild Lights Event

If you are heading to Magnetic Hill Zoo tonight for their Wild Lights display, don’t forget to bring a non-perishable food item.

Director Jill Marvin says all of the donations go to the Food Depot Alimentaire, ” Our goal is to help support a community event, and this is the first year we’ve collected for the food banks. The staff is excited and we’ll set our mark this year, and that will be the goal to beat every year.”

With a non-perishable food item, you will receive a $2 discount off of your admission.

Donations were also collected on December 2nd.

Wild Lights is open from 5 to 8:30. This year’s theme is “The Year of the Wolf.”
