Environment Canada Meteorologist Darin Borgel says there will be a bit of everything weatherwise today, “We will have mixed wintry weather, depending on where you are. Northern New Brunswick, expects a fair bit of snow today . The southern areas, especially Saint John and Moncton are going to see things switch back between snow and ice pellets for most of the morning. There could be a continuation, of freezing rain and freezing drizzle as well, making things slick for most of the morning.”
He says this is going to make for a tricky commute.
Freezing rain warnings are in effect for most of Southern New Brunswick.
“For the afternoon commute, it could go back to a little bit of snow, and temperatures going right back below zero again. So it could be trick again but for different reasons.” Borgel says.
