Firefighters Begin Collecting Turkeys In Annual Tradition Today

An annual tradition in Southeast New Brunswick kicks off later this morning.

A collection of turkeys will start down back at the St. George fire station.

This is the 22nd annual Sue Stultz and Moncton firefighters turkey drive that ensures every person in southeast New Brunswick has a turkey on their table for Christmas time.

No word yet on how many they need this year. That number will be revealed at the official launch being held at 11am this morning at Bessborough school.

The turkey drive runs until December 6th.
