UPDATE: Moncton Woman Charged In Connection With Death Of Candace Stevens

Fredericton police say charges have been laid in the death of 31-year-old Candace Stevens.

Her remains were found on a dirt road in Upper Derby, near Miramichi, last October.

Police say Wendy Gail Losier of Moncton has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

The 42-year-old woman appeared before a judge by way of tele-remand on Saturday.

Losier was remanded into custody and is due in Fredericton provincial court this afternoon.
