The Codiac Regional RCMP has arrested a 34-year-old man following an attempted armed robbery at a licensed establishment in Dieppe.
Police responded to 439 Champlain Street at approximately 2:40 a.m.
Police say a man walked into the bar with a weapon, with his face covered, and demanded cash from the bartender.
Patrons in the bar grabbed the man and wrestled him to floor where they held him until police arrived.
The man remains in police custody and the investigation is ongoing.
