Job Numbers Are Up In Canada

A rise in full time work bumped the country’s employment rate to 54000 jobs according to Stats Canada.

The unemployment rate dropped by 0.2 per cent to 5.5%.

More people were working in health care and social assistance, accommodation and food services.

There were declines in information, culture and recreation, and in natural resources.

New Brunswick lost 15-hundred jobs in September, but the unemployment rate fell to 8.3 per cent as fewer people looked for work.
