No Decision Yet On Funds For Moncton Magic

There’s still no word on how much the Moncton Magic will receive from the City of Moncton for last season.

In an email, City Spokesperson Isabelle Leblanc told us, they have a calculation, but the agreement calls for an external party review of the Magic’s financial statements.

They are still waiting for those statements before providing a final amount.

City Council voted in August 2018 to pay the team up to $333, 000 to cover any financial losses during their first year at the Avenir Centre.

The Moncton Magic won the NBL championship last season.
