Infant Formula Recall

Parents with babies, check your shelves for a certain type of President’s Choice infant formula.

Loblaw Companies Limited is recalling the lower Iron milk based formula due to possible contamination.

Food contaminated with Cronobacter may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Although Cronobacter is not commonly linked to human illness, in rare cases it can cause serious or fatal infections. Cronobacter can cause rare bloodstream and central nervous system infections and has been associated with severe intestinal infection and blood poisoning, especially in newborns.

If you have this type of formula in your home, it should be thrown out or returned to the store where it was purchased.
