Truck Fire In Dieppe Contained Quickly

Quick work by the Dieppe Fire Department to prevent a fire from spreading to a nearby home.

District Chief Marc Cormier says they received reports at around 10pm last night of a truck fire on Sainte-Marie Lane.

The truck was close to a home, but firefighters managed to extinguish the flames quickly.

Cormier says it appears it started in the engine compartment and it is not being considered suspicious.
