Since being evicted from the Albert Street tent city, many of its residents were able to find another place to stay.
Some, however, may still be looking for another location to pitch their tents.
The City of Moncton is advising anyone who may see someone on their property, that is is their right to respectfully tell them to leave.
Additionally, if you see someone on a neighbour’s property, please advise the property owner as they may not be aware. It is their responsibility to take action.
The city continues its efforts to secure lodging for each of these individuals.
