A 47 year old Riverview man has been arrested and charged following an incident in Riverview.
On Friday, shortly after 6 p.m., Codiac RCMP responded to a residence on Kerry Court where an individual was threatening someone inside a home.
The incident lasted several hours as the man was refusing to co-operate with police or exit the home.
The man was arrested without incident shortly after midnight and none was injured.
He was brought before a judge on Saturday morning where he was charged with unlawful confinement.
The suspect will remain custody and appear in court again on Monday.
