UPDATE: Memramcook House Fire Suspicious

Southeast RCMP say a house fire in Memramcook has been deemed suspicious and the Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.

Memramcook Fire Chief Gerald Boudreau says they were called early Wednesday morning around 6:30 after flames were spotted coming from home on Renaissance Road.

Chief Boudreau says it was a fast moving fire, in a home that was around 5000 square feet.

Members of the Sackville and Dieppe Fire Departments were called in to assist with water supply.

The home is a total loss and no one was there at the time.

If anyone has information about the fire, get in touch with the Sackville RCMP detachment at 506-364-5023 or Crime Stoppers toll free at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or www.crimenb.ca.
