Many parents will be busy this weekend getting last minute shopping done before the kids head back to school.
If you are new to the area, or if your child is changing schools, make sure they are registered.
Anglophone East Director of Schools Pam Wilson says you can visit their website to find out what school your child should be attending.
“Anglophone East is implementing a new registration process. It will look the same for parents but schools have steps to take to find out as much as possible about each student before they start school. This could involve the school setting up a meeting with the parents and will involve the school contacting the former school to ensure things are in place to meet the students needs.” Wilson says.
Parents can visit the Anglophone East website to find out what school their child should be attending, based on their home address. The parents will then need to go directly to the school to register..
Most students return to class on September 4th.
