Police are looking for an inmate after he failed to return to a Community Based Residential Facility in Moncton.
66 year old Jack Woods had been in the community after being granted an unescorted temporary absence.
He was in the facility on temporary absence from the Dorchester Penitentiary’s minimum-security unit.
The Correctional Service of Canada contacted the Codiac RCMP and a warrant for his arrest was issued.
He is currently serving a sentence for Manslaughter and Second Degree Murder.
Woods measures 170 cm and weighs about 220. He has pale skin, blue eyes and brown hair.
He has a number of tattoos on his arms and is missing both pinky fingers.
