One man was taken to hospital with burns after a fire gutted his family’s travel trailer at a campground near Sussex.

Fire crews were called to Pine Cone Camping in Penobsquis around 5 a.m. Saturday.

The Canadian Red Cross says a family of four from Welland, Ontario, was staying in the trailer.

The couple and their two children, aged six and eight, have received emergency lodging, meals, clothing and other essentials from the Red Cross.
