As part of an ongoing investigation, Codiac RCMP have received new information about an incident in which a nurse was reportedly assaulted at the Dumont Hospital earlier this year.
A second complainant has come forward about the March 11th incident which resulted in the arrest of a 69-year-old man on Tuesday.
The man was released on conditions pending a court date on September 25th.
The individual cannot be named yet because he hasn’t been charged.
Meantime in June, 69-year-old Bruce Randolph Van Horlick of Acadieville was charged with assault causing bodily harm.
He was released on conditions with a court appearance at a future date.
