Investigation are ongoing for two separate single motor vehicle crashes that have claimed the lives of two men.
Richibouctou RCMP were called to the scene of a crash on Route 116 in Upper Rexton at approximately 11:45 p.m. yesterday (SAT).
A vehicle had left the road and rolled over. The driver, a 25-year-old man from Bass River, was the lone occupant of the vehicle and died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
Early this morning, Richibucto RCMP also responded to a second crash on Route 535 in Cocagne where a vehicle had left the road and crashed into a concrete barrier.
A 23-year-old man from Cocagne died at the scene as a result of his injuries. He was the only person in the vehicle.
The investigations into both crashes are ongoing.
