NHL Drafts Two Moncton Wildcats

Two former Wildcats have caught the attention of the National Hockey League.

Jordan Spence has been drafted to the LA Kings while Jakob Pelletier was selected by the Calgary Flames.

Director of hockey operations for the Wildcats, Ritchie Thibeau says the organization is very proud to see Jordan and Jakob advance in their careers.

“It’s very good, as an organization every time you have some of your players recognized. It shows that you’ve got some quality people that are good hockey player and that you have a good program to develop them,” Thibeau says.

The two former Wildcats will be heading to development camp over the summer after their recent NHL drafts.

Thibeau says, despite not being selected for the draft, 3 other Wildcats have been invited to attend development camp this year.

In the history of the organization, a total of 60 Wildcats have been drafted to the NHL.
