Family Injured And Pets Lost In West End House Fire

Three people were taken to hospital after a fire on Byng Court in Moncton’s west end.

Moncton Fire Captain Brian Mcdonald says the blaze broke out just after 5pm Wednesday afternoon in the basement apartment of a bungalow.

Three cats died in the fire, while two others were given oxygen and are now being looked after by neighbours.
