Spruce Street Apartment Extensively Damaged By Fire

A fire over the weekend on Spruce Street in Moncton left one person injured.

The fire broke out in a three unit apartment complex on Saturday afternoon.

Moncton Fire say the man was hurt while trying to rescue his dog from the building.

The man was taken to hospital, and the dog was treated by firefighters at the scene.

The building is extensively damaged.
