Cannabis NB has released their quarterly and year-end results.
The total for legal cannabis sales was of 18.6 million. Total losses amounted to 11.7 million.
Cannabis NB General Manager, Lara Wood says they didn’t expect to be profitable this year.
Dry flower sales represented 85 per cent of sales for the quarter.
Wood says this numbers were lower than anticipated.
She says although the demand met their expectations, their supply wasn’t up to par.
However, she says the volume of supply isn’t the issue but rather the variety of product.
While they may have been well stocked with some products, there was a shortage of some of the more popular ones.
Wood says this first year was a learning curve but is confident in the corporation’s future.
