Four teenagers have lost their lives to a tragic accident last night
The Miramichi Police Force, Miramichi Fire Department and Paramedics responded to the single vehicle accident.
It occurred on Nelson Street just South of Route 118.
Police say the vehicle left the road and landed upside down in deep water.
Two males and two females were taken to Miramichi Hospital where they later died from their injuries.
Nelson Street remains closed to all traffic while police investigate the scene.
The names of the four teenagers are not being released at this time pending notification to their families.
More details are expected to be released later today.
