A senior petroleum analyst believes the provincial regulator will raise gas prices this week – just days before the carbon tax is applied in New Brunswick.
Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says gasoline is expected to rise by 3 cents per litre at midnight.
Diesel could go up by half a cent this week.
On Monday, April 1st, the carbon tax will raise gas prices by another 4.42 cents per litre.
