Norton Fire Still Under Investigation

A fire which destroyed the home of one of Norton’s biggest employers is still under investigation.

Fire crews were called to Hall Brothers Enterprises around 5 a.m. last Thursday.

The building was destroyed but firefighters managed to save quite a bit of equipment.

Bill Palmer, chief of the Norton Fire Department, said he is still waiting for the investigation results from the province’s Fire Marshal’s Office.

Palmer said it is too soon to say when those results might be available.

Hall Brothers re-opened in a new location on Monday and are once again serving customers.
