Rothesay Man Dies After Snowmobile Crash

Police say a 58-year-old man from Rothesay has died after a snowmobile collision near Oromocto.

Mounties were called to a crash between a snowmobile and a car in Rusagonis early Saturday evening.

They believe the man on the snowmobile was crossing Rusagonis Road when he was hit by the car.

Police say the man driving the snowmobile was taken to hospital, where he died from his injuries on Tuesday.

The driver of the car was taken to hospital with minor injuries and later released.

Police say the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
