New Brunswick NDP Accept Leader’s Resignation

The New Brunswick NDP has officially accepted the resignation of its former leader.

Jennifer McKenzie stepped down from the position on Monday.

In a release, the party recognizes McKenzie played a crucial role in advocating for a $15 minimum wage, and eliminating tuition fees for universities across the province.

No word yet on when the party may choose a new leader.
