Survey Reveals Top Gift Choices For Valentines Day

If you are still searching for the perfect gift for your sweetheart today, take note.

According to a recent survey by Ebates.ca, 33 per cent of Canadians said that going out for a nice meal is the way to their heart.’

12 per cent said flowers are the way to go, followed by tickets to an event or outing, or gift cards.

Lower on the list are cash, or a surprise getaway.

Some of the worst Valentines gifts received by those surveyed, include a workout video, a toothbrush, a gas gift card, and an empty box of chocolates.

Other questions on the survey revealed that 68 per cent said that Valentines Day is a silly holiday.

How much on average are people spending on gifts? The survey found Canadians are spending around $76.
