The provincial opposition is calling on the Higgs government to do something about the Restigouche Health Centre and the issues that arose in the Ombudsman’s report earlier this week.
In that report, Charles Murray talked about launching an investigation after an anonymous letter in 2017 told him about the treatment of patients at the facility.
Health critic MLA Jean-Claude D’Amours says ” The government and the Health Authority must do everything possible to ensure that patient receives the best possible care at all costs.”
The report calls on a response from the government within 90 days.
