Two people were taken to hospital last night after an accident on the Trans Canada Highway near the Harrisville Boulevard exit.
Emergency responders say a tow truck had pulled over to help another motorist change a tire.
A passing vehicle struck the tow truck, but then ended up rolling over into the ditch.
The tow truck driver was taken to hospital. Reports indicate he was released from hospital early this morning.
The driver of the other vehicle was also taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
Due to a collision, Highway 2 Westbound between Mile Marker 462 – 459 near Moncton is currently closed. Traffic is being diverted.
