Many Stores Closing Early To Ring In New Year

It’s New Year’s Eve, which means many stores and businesses will be closing early.

CF Champlain is open from 10 a-m to 5 p-m today, and other retailers closing at the same time, if not earlier.

All Sobeys, Atlantic Superstore and Walmart locations will close at 6 p-m, while Costco is open from 9 a-m to 5 p-m.

N-B Liquor corporate stores and Cannabis N-B outlets are open from 10 a-m to 6 p-m.

Codiac Transpo is running as normal today…and they will also have FREE bus service on New Year’s Eve on certain routes. This is from 5:30 pm to 2:30am. Check their website to find out which routes are covered.

There will be no bus service for new years day.

Most businesses will be closed on New Year’s Day, though some restaurants and drugstores will be open for at least part of it.
