Codiac RCMP are investigating a collision between an SUV and a pedestrian on McLaughlin Drive at Beechwood Avenue in Moncton Thursday night.
Police say the incident happened around 6:30pm and the man was crossing the street at a crosswalk.
The victim was about 70-years-old and he was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
No word yet on whether or not the driver will face charges.
