It’s all up to nature as to whether or not the Amur tigers at the Magnetic Hill Zoo have another litter of cubs.
Zoo director Jill Marvin says it’s possible that Alik and Anya could have more cubs but it also may not happen.
“We want to make sure that if they do have another set of cubs that we can safely move them into a another zoo that meets the same accreditation standards that we have here at Magnetic Hill Zoo,” she notes.
Born in the spring, Kazimir, Luka, and Samira are the second litter of cubs for Alik and Anya.
A fourth cub died shortly after birth.
The three cubs are being transported this month to their new home at an accredited zoo in Ontario.
