Weather Forces Delay Of Lobster Fishing Season

Lobster fishermen will leave their boats docked this morning, due to the impending weather.

The Fundy North Fisherman’s Association posted on their Facebook yesterday that the window for the boats to head out wasn’t long enough.

They have to decided to wait until this afternoon to reassess the conditions and look at whether Thursday is a better launch date.

The lobster season normally opens on the second Tuesday of November each year.
