Participants Needed To Help Set Speed Networking World Record

The Hub City Young Professionals need your help to set a world record.

“We are trying to break the record, the Guinness World record for the world’s largest speed networking event. It is an attempt that will happen October 3rd, at the Moncton Coliseum,” Richard says.

He says it is similar to speed dating, “The event will be formalized by having participants sit in rows of ten, and every three minutes at the sound of the bell, they will move one seat to the right. In around 75 minutes, they will meet 20 individuals.”

The current record is 1068 participants, and it was set in Belgium in 2014.

Richard says they have over 700 committed to participate, but they’re encouraging everyone to register soon.

“We are very ambitious and are hoping for around 3000 to register, because hopefully between 2000 and 3000 will show up,” Richard says.
