The Universite de Moncton has seen the biggest increase in its enrolment in over a decade.
Figures released by the institution show a net gain of 157 full-time students this fall compared to last year
The current enrolment at all three U de M campuses (Moncton, Edmundston, Shippagan) is nearly 4400.
The number of Canadian students climbed by 74 over last year while there were 83 additional international students.
Interim President/Vice-Chancellor Jacques Paul Couturier says recruitment strategies both here and abroad are now seeing results.
He adds better relationships have been developed with recruiting agencies and the admissions process has become more efficient.
The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is still the most popular among students followed by the Faculty of Health Sciences and Community Services.
