Man Faces 14 Charges After Mounties Seize Drugs and Firearms

Codiac RCMP have seized drugs and firearms after officers carried out a search warrant at a Galbraith Crescent home.

Mounties arrested a Moncton man and a woman at the home.

Police say 28-year-old Logan Furlong is facing 14 charges and is being held in custody until his next court date on September 25.

-Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
-Possession for the purpose of trafficking marijuana
-Production of cannabis oil
-Unlawful possession of unstamped tobacco product
-Five counts of possession of a firearm knowing that its possession is unauthorized
-Possession of loaded prohibited firearm
-Four counts of unsafe storage of a firearm

Six firearms were seized – three were loaded – along with contraband cigarettes, a portable hash oil extractor and drugs thought to be cocaine and marijuana.

A 33-year-old woman has been released from custody and is set to appear in court on December 13.
