Elections New Brunswick is expanding its campus outreach program to include voting stations at 18 post-secondary institutions across the province.
This will make it easier for students to vote in the upcoming provincial election on September 24.
The campus voting stations are located at the University of New Brunswick’s Fredericton and Saint John campuses; Université de Moncton’s campuses in Moncton, Edmundston and Shippagan; St. Thomas University; Mount Allison University; Crandall University; the Collège Communitaire du Nouveau Brunswick’s Edmundston, Shippagan, Campbellton and Bathurst campuses and the New Brunswick Community College campuses in Moncton, Fredericton, Saint John and Miramichi.
Elections New Brunswick will also be providing funding to the student councils on six of the larger campuses to hire students as election ambassadors.
Campus voting stations will be open during the week of Sept. 17-21.
