Codiac RCMP have taken a young person into custody after an incident at Riverview High earlier today.
Officers responded at around 11:30am this morning after reports from a school official of a student with a gun.
The school went into lockdown mode as a precaution.
Sergeant Dave MacDonnell says one person was found to have minor injuries after an airsoft gun containing beebees was fired at him.
Police have recovered a weapon.
The area was cordoned off briefly, and the school was under lockdown for around 20 minutes.
