Ongoing contruction work on the Harrisville Boulevard overpass spanning Route 15 will cause a complete shutdown for almost two weeks.
The Department of Transportation says full closure of the overpass will take place starting next Wednesday, September 12th until Friday, September 28th.
Detours will be in place.
The eastbound off-ramp has already been closed until further notice.
The almost $14 million project involves widening the overpass and creating roundabouts at either end in what’s known as a dog-bone interchange.
