If you’re a fan of Monopoly and you live in Moncton, there’s a new game recently released that you’ll want to purchase.
It is one that features properties that you’ll be familiar with. It’s called Moncton-opoly.
Senior Vice-President of Outset Media Jean-Paul Teskey says they partnered up with an organization called Late for the Sky who have the rights to do Opoly games, “They approached us and asked if we would like to do a joint production doing smaller cities across Canada. They were doing this exclusively with Walmart, so they suggested we do the same.”
Teskey says they started with their test in Eastern Canada and they’ve created games for Moncton, St. John’s, Newfoundland, Halifax, Sydney and Charlottetown.
Sales are going very well so far, “”If things continue to go well, we would like to make it a full time thing and roll it out across Canada,” Teskey says.
