Police say two people have died following a single-vehicle crash north of Fredericton.
It happened on Route 148 in Nashwaak Village around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Mounties say a vehicle missed a curve on the road and continued straight into the ditch.
An 80-year-old man and a 79-year-old woman, both from nearby Durham Bridge, died at the scene.
Route 148 near Durham Bridge is now open.

Police are still trying to piece together the cause of the crash.
