The province will be providing free access to the online training currently offered to preschool autism agencies and educators.
These training modules have been used by preschool autism agencies and schools for the past few years.
The modules will provide parents with initial training in behavioral interventions and learning strategies for autistic kids.

It’s expected the modules will give parents tools to better understand, question and participate in their child’s intervention program.
Parents or guardians of preschool kids with autism will be offered the training this fall. Those with autistic kids already in school will have access to the version of the course provided to schools next year.
You can find a registration form on the department’s website from September 4th to 14th with the course starting on the 24th.
