The family of Constable Sara Burns releasing a statement.
We are learning she would have found all of this attention terrifying but she would want everyone to know she absolutely loved what she did for a living.
Sara’s husband, Steve, describes her as his best friend, wife and mother to their 3 sons, Duncan, Malcolm and Anderson.
He adds the most important people in her world were her two families, her immediate family and her police family.
A memorial fund has been set up in her name and the proceeds will be used to make her fellow officers and the community safer.
Steve Burns says Sara would insist that Bobbie Lee Wright and Donald Adam Robichaud not be forgotten because their lives are no less important.
