NB Man Facing Dangerous Driving Charges On NS Highway

A New Brunswick man is facing charges after a reported incident of dangerous driving in Nova Scotia.

RCMP say early yesterday morning, a vehicle was spotted driving into oncoming traffic with its lights off on Highway 102, before exiting at Truro Heights.

Police say the vehicle was travelling at more than 200 kilometres an hour at times.

A spike belt was deployed near Stewiacke and the vehicle lost one of its tires, but the driver continued.

The vehicle then turned off in Shubenacadie, and a man was taken into custody.
