Southeast RCMP have arrested two people following the search and seizure of drugs at two separate homes in Lakeville.
On Friday afternoon, Mounties carried out a search warrant at a Kenshaw Street home in Lakeville where officers seized methamphetamine, marijuana and contraband cigarettes.
A 42-year-old Lakeville woman was arrested and released on a promise to appear in court in November.
Later the same afternoon, RCMP seized marijuana and contraband cigarettes after carrying out a search warrant at a home on Biddington Avenue in Lakeville.
A 40-year-old Lakeville man was arrested and released on a promise to make a court appearance in November.
As the investigation continues, police don’t believe the two incidents are connected.
