With Canada Day falling on a Sunday this year, and the holiday being the following Monday, knowing what’s open and closed can be confusing.
NB Liquor corporate stores are open today from 12 to 5, but will be closed Monday.
Meanwhile, grocery stores like Sobeys and Superstore will be open today, however, they will be closed tomorrow.
Most federal and provincial departments, like Service New Brunswick, Service Canada, and Canada Post are closed both days.
Champlain Place will be open Sunday, but closed tomorrow for the stat holiday.
The Moncton Public Library will be closed today but opens on Monday.
Finally, Codiac Transpo will be running their regular Sunday schedule today, but will be completely shut down for Monday.
As always, one of the safest things to do if you’re concerned is to call ahead to the business, or organization you are planning to visit to ensure they are open, as they may have limited hours.
