A 72-year old inmate of Dorchester Penitentiary has died, according to a press release from Correctional Service Canada.
Gary Macneil died June 29th from apparent natural causes following an illness.
From 1998 until the time of his death, Macneil was serving an indeterminate sentence for sexual offences.
CSC will review the circumstances of the death, and contact the police and coroner if required.
