It might be the eulogy for the Gallant government.
That’s how the official Opposition is characterizing the latest provincial budget which features a projected deficit of $189 million and an increase and the spending of an extra $73 million.
Riverview MLA Bruce Fitch delivered the reply to the budget.
“This government’s fiscal policies have edged us closer to the financial, fiscal cliff. Closer to a tipping point where we’ll not be able to sustain the social programs that our families rely on,” says Fitch.
Fitch, in the reply, says this is a government that is addicted to spending money earned by New Brunswickers.
