If you believe Shubenacadie Sam in Nova Scotia, we are in for an early spring.
The first groundhog in North America to make a weather prediction emerged from his den this morning…
Under a cloudy sky, he DID NOT see his shadow and according to folklore that means spring will arrive early.
However, it’s a different story for Ontario’s Wiarton Willie and Pennsylvania’s Punxsutawney Phil who both saw their shadows and that means six more weeks of winter.
