An investigation is underway by the provincial RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit, after the discovery of a body this weekend.
The body of a woman in her fifties was found in Alma around 6 Saturday afternoon by people searching for her after she’d gone missing earlier in the day.
An autopsy is scheduled for today, and police are attempting to determine the circumstances surrounding her death.
